No way God can use me

Church Family,

This morning during my devotions in Acts 22, I noticed just how wicked Saul was before he became Paul. Maybe you reading this today and thinking I will never change. Maybe you are so discouraged or think that you are too wicked to ever be loved by God. Look at Paul's testimony in Acts 22.

3 “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God as all of you are this day. 4I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering to prison both men and women, 5as the high priest and the whole council of elders can bear me witness. From them I received letters to the brothers, and I journeyed toward Damascus to take those also who were there and bring them in bonds to Jerusalem to be punished.

19 And I said, ‘Lord, they themselves know that in one synagogue after another I imprisoned and beat those who believed in you. 20And when the blood of Stephen your witness was being shed, I myself was standing by and approving and watching over the garments of those who killed him.’ 21And he said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

1) Saul was a terrorist. He murdered innocent men, women, and children because they believed the Way to God was through Jesus only.

2) Very few have done worse than Saul. Yet even if you have done far worse than Saul. The bible tells us that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more. God's grace and saving power is greater than your sin and wickedness.

3) If God has Saved you, God has Sent you. NO true believer has been told not to go and make disciples. Only the saved are sent.

4) Church that does not Go and make Disciples is living in disobedience or worse, does not know God.

Love, Serve, Go
