Willing to do the Impossible

Church Family,

Strike up the Praise band of your heart! Based on the numbers I was given from our 3 meetings: Baptist Women, Brotherhood and Baptist Young Women, we had over 80 in attendance. Glory to God! These meetings were so good, we are going to have an additional meeting tonight called prayer meeting starting at 7pm. Come and join us at the church.

Are you asking God for the Impossible? Not Impossible for Him, but Impossible by human means. Today in my devotion time, I read Isaiah 50. It is telling about Israel's lack of obedience and a servant, Jesus, who will always obey.

Isaiah 50:2 Why, when I came, was there no man; why, when I called, was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver?

1) Inspite of their sinulness God was still speaking. What's God been saying through His word and Spirit to you lately?

2) Why did God punish Israel? No one was willing to serve God. No one was willing to answer God.

3) As you ask God to do the Impossible, to save the lost, heal a relationship, restore your walk with Him, etc.. DO not miss out on listening to God's response.

4) If you are praying, but have doubt, STOP! Remember the Power of God to redeem and deliver.

5) The church that doesn't seek the Impossible will only do things in it's power. That church, like Israel, will turn from God and trust only in man.

Love, Serve, Go
