Here are the notes from the Pastor's message

Redemption:  includes the ideas of loosing from a bond, setting free from captivity or slavery, buying back something lost or sold, exchanging something in one's possession for something possessed by another, and ransoming.

Tookie Williams founder of the crips, one of the deadliest street gangs ever. He was vicious and blood thirsty . He thought that fear meant respect. While in prison he still ran the gang until he spent 6 years in solitary confinement. During this time he began to face his demons. Renounced his leadership of the gang. Began writing books and even helped broker peace for certain events between the bloods and crips. He was nominated 5 times for the nobel peace prize.
