A Letter From Our Pastor

My name is TJ Johnson and I have been serving as the pastor of High Point Baptist Church since August of 2022. Since being called to serve at this church, I have seen God’s goodness and faithfulness both at a personal level and at a corporate level. It is my supreme desire to devote myself to the faithful preaching of God’s word through expository preaching and to devote myself to the ministry of prayer for the people of this church.

I hope that if you are visiting this site, that you will prayerfully consider joining us for worship. I think that you will find a church who submits beneath the authority of God’s word, strives for the purity of worship, believes in making disciples, and above all, desires to exalt Christ in all things. Please consider this a personal invitation from me to come and join us.

Soli Deo Gloria,

TJ Johnson

”And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.“ ‭‭Acts 2: 42-47
